Sensors

EGO1
Universal Oxygen Sensor

The EGO1 (Exhaust Gas Oxygen) sensor is a four-wire sensor that provides a very accurate output voltage which is directly correlated with air/fuel ratio. It is an ideal sensor for use with the ARM1 (Air/Fuel Ratio Meter). The EGO1 features an internal heater which assures accurate readings soon after engine start. The EGO1 also features a signal ground which provides highly accurate readings.

IAT1
Intake Air Temperature Sensor

The IAT1 Intake Air Temperature sensor is often used to replace the stock IAT sensor when MAF (Mass Air Flow) kits are installed. On many air flow meter (AFM) cars, the IAT sensor is internal to the AFM. When the AFM is replaced by the MAF sensor, the stock IAT sensor is removed. The IAT1 replaces the stock IAT sensor and can improve cold start performance. It is generally installed in the stock air box in front of the air filter. The IAT1 comes with a connector and nut to hold it in place.

Mass Air Flow Sensors

Split Second is your source for free flowing Mass Air Flow sensors (MAF). These flow sensors are a durable light weight aluminum construction. By removing the restrictive stock Air Flow Meter (AFM), Karman Vortex, or Plunger type, air flow sensor and replacing it with a larger free flowing MAF sensor you are able to increase your horsepower. MAF are sized to your engine’s potential. If you have any questions on which MAF sensor is best suited for your engine feel free to call a Split Second representative for help.
